Should we be there?
Should we hold people and countries responsible for acts of terrorism?
Maybe we should just sit back and turn the other cheek or bury our collective heads in the sand or up our asses?
Maybe the problem is that we shouldn’t be so damn worried about rebuilding their bloody country. If we just stuck to the program and hunted down and brought to justice (shot) those that perpetuated the mass murders of 9/11.
Maybe we should just let those countries that harboured and supported these terrorists figure it out on their own. We can always just go in again, bomb the hell out of them, or do the search and destroy exercises again to take out the individuals responsible and then just walk away right? That would be ok wouldn’t it?
Maybe we shouldn’t care about what is happening outside of our borders. I mean if we can ignore Darfur, can’t we just turn the channel on Afghanistan?
What can you live with? What can you close your eyes to and ignore?
Should we be there…?
I’ll tell you what, watch the video of the towers collapsing following the planes crashing into them.
Listen to the 911 phone calls of the doomed people in the towers.
Look at the photos of the dead as they are pulled out of the rubble of the towers.
Read the names of all of those that died for whom their bodies needed to be identified by mere DNA.
Ask someone whom lost family or friends in the planes that crashed or that died in the towers if we should be there.
Should Canadian troops be in Afghanistan?
If you can seriously ask that question then why should we have Canadian Troops anywhere?
